This critical hire directed a team of preclinical pharmacologists, as well as study directors. They led toxicology studies, budgeting, staffing, and daily management of a 50-person department. This leader designed and supervised the construction of biology, chemistry laboratories and an animal facility as well as hired 8 scientists with expertise in Cell biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioanalytical and Medicinal Chemistry. They were also responsible for formulation and drug product stability programs.
