Franklin, MA – Prestige Scientific is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Vice President of CMC & Technical Operations search with our partner, a clinical-stage precision medicine company developing transformative ophthalmology therapies.
The individual hired for this role is a CMC executive with deep expertise in developing and commercializing complex therapeutics across multiple modalities, including biologics, mRNA/LNP, gene therapies, aptamers, and small molecules. Their experience spans end-to-end CMC strategy, process and analytical development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory submissions, global supply chain, and CDMO management, with a strong track record of advancing programs from early development through late-stage clinical execution, regulatory approval, and commercial launch. They have also built and led cross-functional CMC organizations, overseen GMP manufacturing operations, guided regulatory interactions, and partnered with executive leadership to drive strategic decision-making, risk management, and operational execution.
This critical hire will establish and execute a comprehensive CMC strategy to support ongoing clinical development and eventual BLA/NDA filings, They will ensure reliable, timely clinical supply to enable Phase 2–3 studies and key development milestones. They will utilize their expertise to build and manage high-performing external partnerships to deliver efficient development and manufacturing outcomes, and work to align CMC activities with cross-functional program goals, timelines, and regulatory expectations.
