Franklin, MA – Prestige Scientific is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Senior Medical Director search with our partner, a clinical-stage biotechnology company that focuses on developing therapies for severe pulmonary diseases.
The individual hired for this role is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with pulmonary/critical care fellowship training who brings more than fifteen years of pharmaceutical industry experience focused largely on respiratory diseases and pulmonary vascular medicine. Throughout their career they have developed extensive experience leading Phase II and III Clinical Development programs, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional program leadership across pulmonary hypertension, asthma, chronic cough, COPD, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and additional respiratory indications.
This critical hire will lead the clinical development strategy and execution for key programs. They will provide medical oversight for clinical studies, including protocol design, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical operations, regulatory, translational, and commercial teams. This critical hire will serve as a key internal and external medical expert, engaging with investigators, KOLs, and partners to support program differentiation and successful regulatory outcomes.
