The individual hired for this role is a physician-scientist with deep expertise in oncology translational research and early-phase clinical development, especially in solid tumors and KRAS-driven cancers. They have advanced oncology programs from preclinical evaluation through early clinical trials: designing biomarker strategies, guiding indication prioritization, and shaping regulatory documents and go/no-go decisions. They have also ensured trial integrity and patient safety across diverse modalities, from small molecules to oncolytic viruses and antibodies, and currently steer ongoing oncology trials, overseeing protocol development, regulatory interactions, data interpretation, and strategic alignment. Their academic background further enriches their profile, having coordinated translational-clinical biomarker projects through IRB submissions and assay design to support immuno-oncology efforts in leading research institutions.
In this pivotal clinical leadership role, the Senior Medical Director will drive the design and execution of clinical development programs aimed at advancing transformative oncology treatments. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, they will ensure scientific excellence, regulatory alignment, and patient-focused strategies that accelerate the delivery of novel therapies to patients in need.
