Franklin, MA – Prestige Scientific is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Chief Technical Officer search with our partner, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing breakthrough cardiometabolic treatments.
The individual hired is a senior biotechnology executive with 25+ years of leadership in CMC strategy, biologics manufacturing, technical operations, and drug development. This senior CMC executive has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, managing global CDMO networks, executing complex technology transfers, and driving programs from early development through Phase 3 and commercialization. They have successfully integrated technical operations into large pharmaceutical infrastructures, managed CMC regulatory submission sections (IND, IMPD, BLA), and delivered on aggressive timelines and budgets.
This critical hire will own and lead the global chemistry, manufacturing, and controls strategy for the organization's lead cardiometabolic program. This executive will establish scalable, compliant manufacturing processes, drive technology transfers from CMOs to EU and U.S. partners, and ensure regulatory readiness across global health authorities. This critical hire's expertise will help the organization quickly build out a reliable supply of drug substance and drug product for Phase 2 clinical studies. They will also establish a U.S.-anchored manufacturing footprint with built-in redundancy and resilience.
