The individual hired for this role is a seasoned regulatory and quality executive with more than 25 years of global biopharmaceutical experience spanning both emerging biotech companies and large multinational organizations. Their expertise includes building and leading high-performing regulatory and quality functions, driving global health authority interactions, and advancing complex programs across a wide range of therapeutic areas and modalities, including rare diseases, oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, and cell and gene therapies. They have successfully led regulatory strategies supporting INDs, CTAs, NDA/MAA approvals, lifecycle management, and global market expansion across the US, Europe, Asia, China, Japan, and other international regions. In addition to their operational leadership, they are recognized as a strategic executive partner who aligns regulatory and quality strategy with broader business objectives, including corporate growth initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and acquisition due diligence efforts.
This critical hire will lead global commercial and lifecycle regulatory strategy for the organization's cardiovascular and renal portfolio, ensuring labeling consistency, compliance, and strategic growth across marketed and development-stage assets. They will provide senior-level regulatory guidance on promotional review, labeling, and complex escalation decisions in competitive environments. Additionally, this hire will bring experienced leadership, strong decision-making, and expanded regulatory capabilities across the broader franchise.
