Franklin, MA – Prestige Scientific is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Chief Medical Officer search for our partner, a clinical-stage biotechnology company redefining cardiovascular care.
The individual hired for this role brings deep expertise in late-stage clinical development and regulatory strategy, with a track record of leading programs through Phase III design, NDA submission, and FDA approval while directly shaping regulatory interactions and clinical positioning. They have also built and scaled high-performing medical affairs organizations, integrating clinical development, safety, HEOR, and field teams to support both pre- and post-commercial efforts. In addition, they have contributed meaningfully to capital formation, IPO execution, and lifecycle strategy, combining scientific leadership with strong business and investor engagement across cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
This critical hire will lead the clinical and regulatory strategy to advance the lead program from Phase IIb through Phase III and into NDA readiness, while driving key FDA interactions and shaping a robust medical affairs function. They will expand the pipeline through indication extension and establish a clear long-term development roadmap. In parallel, they will serve as a primary external representative, engaging regulators, investors, key opinion leaders, and partners to articulate a compelling and value-driven company narrative.
