Stephen Provost is a Co-Founder and Partner of Prestige Scientific Staffing, a human capital solutions firm for the life sciences that specializes in a methodology based on objective, metric and performance-based search for growth oriented companies.

Stephen has over 10 years of recruiting and management experience in the life sciences industry. Stephen previously helped build the Boston office of a privately held national search firm by becoming one of the top ten Search Consultants in his first 12 months. After a quick rise to management, Stephen led his office to become the second most profitable division before the company was acquired by a private equity firm.

In 2001, Stephen co-founded Prestige Scientific Staffing (formerly Prestige Executive Search) with Michael Barros. Their main mission was to improve the human capital of their life sciences clients by creating a methodology to produce consistent search results and minimizing cost-per-hire at the mid management to executive levels. Since the company's inception, Prestige Scientific Search Consultants have completed over 450 searches in 14 states utilizing the Prestige Performance Search Process.

Stephen is passionate about continued education and building his knowledge base of the recruiting profession. He is not only a member, but a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), through the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and is a regular attendee at training seminars for recruiting best practices. He volunteers as a West Regional Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services (MAPS), a trade association representing the Staffing Industry in Massachusetts and is also a member.

Stephen was born and raised in Quincy, MA but now resides in Uxbridge, MA with his wife and two children. When not in the office, he can be found cruising Boston Harbor aboard his Sea Ray 370, training for his next triathlon, or creating his own line of red wines.
